Wow again Pat!!! I love the red wood, grey tracks, yellow sun, blue sky. What is here not to like about? The station looks so lonely. But, it gives the photo a nice look. Great job!!!

This could as easily be a painting. The time of day was just right to catch the feel of the station. I love the colors, and the way the "porch" seems to go on forever. Great choice of subject!

A unique vantage point capture.
Diminishing perspective of the receptive post structure design.
Vanishing viewpoint creates greater depth.
Poignant image.
A nostalgic feel.
Dramatic skyline adds a melancholic touch.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

This has an amazing perspective and the view from the train station is an incredible one of this sunset.
I think the colors and detail from this pint of view add so much interest to your photograph and the lines of this capture are excellent.
The shadows in this shot are amazing and really make it a wonderful scene.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the sunset over Cook Inlet from the walkway at Potter station, the gold along the horizon reflected on the water's of Cook Inlet & colouring the clouds above. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

what an amazing view. I know it is a train station as I can see the red hanging name plate, cleverly caught in the picture along with the excellent perspective. Absolutely amazing views

The color of the station looks really nice and the water has very attractive textures. It looks like the tracks are very close to the water from this angle. Nice leading lines into the distance.

A very nicely composed shot with beautiful colors. It is a little strange that I too posted an image that contained a railroad today. Great minds run in the same sewer.
