What a beautiful capture! I love coneflowers and this one is a beauty with the bee! The colors accent the bumble bee nicely and he looks very immersed in his important work. The detail and focus are amazing!

This is an interesting close up. The flower and the bee show clear, well defined detail and nice natural colors. The colors of the background emphasizing your subject. Especially the lighted spot behind the bee.

What a beautiful macro shot of this coneflower with the bumble bee. The colors are excellent and really catch the eye of the viewer. The bright orange center is beautifully focused along with the bee which adds so much interest to this shot. I love the soft blurred background which brings your attention to your subjects. This is a unique and appealing macro entry and should do very well in the contest. Best of luck and a real pleasure to view.

I really like cone flowers. They are great to draw and great to see. The bumblebee is a real bonus in this scene. I like how fuzzy and small he looks atop the perfectly formed cone on this s flower. This is a terrific image. Best of luck.

Hi Linda, I'm glad you enjoyed the shot. I loved the center of the coneflower it kind of resembles a mountaintop. It made this BIG bee become a lot smaller to the eye. Thanks for the Great review! :o) Helvi

One tiny suggestion: The light part of the bumble bee could be sharpened just a tad to really accent this fellow. A Great entry for the contest. I expect it will do very well.
