Very lovely capture and a wonderful entry for the contest! I love the shape and color variation of these unusual tulips. Your focus is sharp and clear and your work is perfectly cropped to accent your subject nicely!

These tulips are just stunning! Beautiful and elegant. Love the composition. The sharpness and focus are excellent ... so much detail in the petals. Love the dark background ... really makes the flowers pop!

Excellent close up, Grace, showing these beautiful Tulips - I have some like these in my garden and I love them with their frilly edged petals. The dark background works really well to push them forward. I like how you placed them in the frame, going diagonally across. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully crisp image. Great composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

These are called Parrot tulips. I've seen them in multicolored and solid colors. These are gorgeous and you have captured them in a wonderful position showing us all the details and forms of the petals. Beautiful focus and well defined against the black back ground. Well framed.

A beautiful pair of tulips. They have great color which looks particularly good against the darkened background. Nicely composed with fine detail in the petals.

I like the black background on this image...it really makes the pinks in the blossoms stand out nicely. The lacy fringe of white gives the petals a bearded look. The lights and shadows give it depth.

Oh what a nice one. These things jump right out of the screen. Very dramatic yet delicate. I think the contrast, sharpening and black background really made this a show stopper. Great entry for the contest. Best of luck Grace ~ Steve
