Rebate, you really need to start looking at the contest lists before you post. Many ha e a free entry. This would have been a perfect entry into the Faith art contest. I love the dormitory beds lined up like good little soldiers and the child and nun at prayer.

thank you-- I don't do any competitions because in UK I am sort of not permitted any advances and SOME of the USA go along with anything the UK does. I am just happy that I can show my stuff on USA sites without the usual Ministry stuff which happens '' over here. Many Americans, who are very friendly people, imagine England is a democracy.. England is what our own left called a ''soft dictatorship and sometimes not so soft - as one Tory MP said: if the State damages private citizens it is either very expensive for the State or for the private citizen, in your case it is you who suffers.

Very nice. I love the classical art style. Reminds me of the Old Masters. Excellent choice of colors and position. Well done. A truly wonderful creation.

This one catches your eye with it's colors and well planned composition. I like how the nun is only partially seen in the illustration. The woman praying by her bedside is interesting to view and well placed in the artwork. Love the matching bedspreads and the color choices.

thank you- at the children's home, we all had matching bed stuff in the dormitories, as I think it was the cheapest or they got job lots. Our nuns were there but they did not force their presence in an obvious way. There were three of them to care for over fifty of us..
