good photography, background colour compliments the transparent wings nicely giving it a tint of green, i like the way the wings are flapped over each other. image is very clear. wishing you great success...Good Luck!

Absolutely beautiful detail in your bee! You're right about the wings - they are lovely. The focus and cropping are terrific giving the attention to your main subject. A great capture!

Just a humble drone am I, covered in pollen and laden with nectar is my lot.

Save for my wings, always clean, always clear.

My wings are the last to form before I emerge.

They grow strong as veins form from soft hollow tubes covered in gossamer the envy of Daedalus.

On my rear wing I wear the mark of our queen .

Like fine hand crafted stained glass the venation of my wings and the color of their covering says to whom I belong. No other hive is home, no other mate is friend and no other sovereign rules me.

I live by our rules, I honor our code,

For the truth of it all is I fly:

'Never too high never too low never let the hubris flow.'

A nice pure take. No post production modifications. This capture shows nice natural non saturated color, nature like.

Well focused and well exposed capture of this bee.

Like the frame filling crop.

A very well done capture of this little bee ... B-)) Bob

Wow! What a great looking close-up shot! Fine clarity too. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Rarely is one able to capture a bee at such a close range and without disturbing the insect. The focus is astounding. You can see every vein in the wings and the hair on the body! The colors are very natural, and the back ground only adds to the beauty of the photo.

isn't nature amazing? Such intricate designs in so many creatures. This image is beautiful but ugly if you know what I mean. Thank goodness this guy doesn't come in a large size such as an elephant. I would run so fast. His intricate designed wings are beautiful. Your image is beautifully focused. So clear and amazingly detailed.
Well accomplished.

It is a little hard to tell from this shot, but I think it might be a sweat bee. They are the only ones I am familiar with that hold their wings folded like this. A very nice shot with great detail in the wing panes.

Fred,
A beautiful & interesting looking Bumble Bee with the interesting gossamer wings & her pollen bags bulging with golden pollen, it could be a Bombus Pascorum Cockoo but I'm NOT sure. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Good focus on the wings. There seems to be a lot of pollen also around the bee. it is amazing how delicate the wings are, yet they flutter at 100's times per second while flying, Another one of God's wonders
