My gosh now you're right in my backyard I have done a few paintings of el Capitan myself and I have to tell you that's why they call the this area the range of light your painting is amazing! I do love the way you captured the lighting and the sky, very ominous. Yosimite is one of my favorite places!I do think it's one of the prettiest places on Earth! 8-))

Now that is beautiful the color composition is outstanding the depth and perspective are great the artboard works more beautifully doesn't it anyway magnificent job here

I like the colours you used in this lovely pastel showing the impressive mountains and very good entry for the contest. I like how you've shown the rocky surface of the mountains and the inclusion of the trees and grasses creates good contrast and added interest. Very nice blending on the pastel board. A fine effort painting a huge mountainscape on a rather small canvas . You are able to achieve a fine balance and depth of field. The colours are though muted are well defined. Overall an impressive entry. Good luck!

Your color pallet is amazing. There are so many different tones in this art that harmonize so well together. This is a great entry for the contest and should fair well. I like how the stream pulls you into the artwork and the two tall trees anchor the scene. Good luck to you in the contest.

sometimes with Americans' work I have to use my imagination, as England is small it does not have grand places, everything except corruption is mini-sized. This is gently coloured almost as an opposite of its grandeur, your own nature throwing through I feel.
