Such a gorgeous scene of
El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. Your colors and brush strokes are beautifully created with good shading and blending of colors. I love how the water leads us into your art work. Gorgeous sky with a nice movement in your image. Also love how the trees frame your work. Good differentiation and contrast and good details in your art. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

I have seen Yosemite in sun and rain and think you have the majesty of the mountain range well captured. The light of the sun seems to break through the deep hanging clouds just enough to tint the mountain tops with golden light and paint golden spots onto the rock formations. The blue water emphasizes the formation further. A tall framing is adequate, but I think the greenery below is distracting from the view toward the mountains, so I would crop about half of the space beneath the mountain formation.

I really like this painting. I like how you put in green in the sky with mauve color. The white in the trees and grass is a nice addition and it really works. Great brush stroke. Thanks for sharing.

I giver a five for the art, I am a pastel pushover. I know the place very well, As i use to live very close by, Have spent many months in the park. Not sure about the perspective of the Merced River and the surrounding area. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed viewing

This is a really beautifully done landscape piece. I especially love the trees along the right. The technique used in the sky is really pleasing to look at. The composition is great with the lines of the river leading the eyes naturally when viewing. Very nice work!

I really like this vertical arrangement, very well created with a wonderful soft color palet, beautiful detail throughout this piece, you show textures as well as textural contrast, the sky is amazing, I love the yellow, pink and gray tones , the formations show nice detail as well as the glow from the setting sun, the trees here are amazing and frame this beautifully, this makes me want to visit! I love the reflections on the water too .
