I like the sepia tones in this image...it adds to the nostalgic feel. The figure with the dog adds interest as does the mare and colt. You have created excellent depth with your mountain range and old city skyline.

Great entry for the contest - good luck. Love the subject matter - where is the scene taking place? Love the sepia tone of the work - guess that;'s what old time postcards looked like traditionally., Thanks for sharing.

Initial impact : WOW! This is amazing to view! What an absolutely beautiful scene with the man and his dog, the old equipment and the horses in the fore, the city structures in the back, the two separate scenes are in such contrast with each other. I love the way this fills the frame, amazing vintage feel , soft vintage colors and tones. This is interesting and beautiful! Very well created and presented ! Best to you in the contest!

This looks indeed like a postcard which is 100 years of age or older. The sepia tint deepens the impression of age, especially with the silver-white highlights on the wagon, the person and the flog of sheep in the background. The composition has good depth and is well balanced and framed.
