The angle and details on this painting is awesome!! Really nicely done! I almost feel as if I'm laying down on the grass somewhere and I'm looking up. The shadows and lighting was really nicely done!!! Beautiful painting!

I love this piece!! The perspective of the trees is very nicely done, culminating in a canopy of sunlit leaves. You've clearly mastered your media and subject! Just beautiful!!

What a fantastic perspective. Just the kind of thing a photographer would like to shoot. I love the diversity of your art and this is a prime example of that. You do wonders with pastels too. So much finely rendered depth and detail in those leaves. A great contest entry. Best of luck. Ed.

I have seen lots of photographs from this perspective but never a painting. I like the composition and the way the tree trunks seem to converge in a vanishing point among the leaves. Best of luck in the contest.

Hi Linda this is really quite interesting and I love the perspective I have taken photographs with this perspective before but I really appreciate that your painting gives it a whole new dimension I like how your your eyes are drawn right to the center of the painting so pretty!

I love the bright airy feel of this piece - the light in the treetops is so sunny and spring like, I can hear the birds chirping! It gives off an optimistic vibe. Thanks for sharing.

This is a lovely piece of art. Creative and well designed. I often look up and see my surroundings from different vantage points. Most people do not look up. I used to hide the my children's Christmas presents high because they would always look around and under trying to find their Christmas gifts but never look up. LOL
Lovely technique and color.

Nice contest contender. good luck!
