This is a wonderful shot of nature. Excellent clarity and sharpness. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Stunning high resolution through out this capture - a joy to look at.

The DOF is perfect for every portion of the image that needs to be seen.

I see well defined petal crenellations are seen as is high detail of the central portion of the rose.

The hover fly is exceptionally well focused and in seen in very high detail.

Color and tonal range is wide.

Excellent photography ... B-)) Bob

What a beautiful pink flower with yellow center detail ! I love the layers of petals, this looks like a rose! I am not positive but it looks like a hover fly , it's well focused and clear all the way through, the colors and tones are natural and very beautiful to view! Well exposed, nice close up , comes forward from background perfectly! Beautiful work!

Fine capture of a Hoverfly inside this gorgeous pretty in Pink wild rose. Focus is sharp and exposure is handled well in the bright sun.
I never seen a Hoverfly or Robberfly ..only photos.
Fine work Behind your lens Fred.

This one is a hoverfly judging from the pattern on its abdomen and the prominent eyes. A very fine shot with sharp detail in both the insect and the flower.

The body says bee and the head says hover fly... I'm going with the hover fly :)

Your colors are very nice here with a nice subdued backdrop with close cropping and great focus.

Great job.

Excellent closeup view of what looks like a wasp. The narrowing in the body makes me think of that. The focus is pin sharp and the colors are beautiful in the bright sunlight.
Excellent detail throughout this very pretty rose. A pleasure to view.

    Oh cool! Thank you...

The problem with cropped images is that it makes the main subject a little soft, and that has happened here a little. I like the way that you have composed this image with the flower not being face on. Colours and lighting look good. Well done :-)
