there is something about this sketch that really is appealing to the eye..maybe its the fact that I'm a dog lover and whippets are one of my favourit breeds as my two buddies originate from the whippet ! I also think its the composition and the palette that is attractive and the facial expressions are just great

The lady looks indifferent, not even looking at her admirer, why he dreams of her with open eyes, having an enchanted expression in its face. You told a story indeed. I just hope my interpretation is not offending to you or the dogs.

Love the painting of these two whippets. I especially like the one on the floor that has an adoring look on his face at the person he is staring at. It looks like he wants to play ball and is waiting for someone to play with him. This is nicely framed with good color choices. Love it.
