Your framing and the close view do make these flowers look so bigger than they are. The flowers and the stamen look big :) You captured a lovely amount of detail and the diagonal crossing of the branch from corner to corner is also very attractive.

Indeed, those pistils look like tentacles. The blossoms are in good focus and the light is well used. I like the shadows on the petals and the presentation on the diagonal branch. The framing seems too tight on the right to me because the top of one petal looks clipped off.

I know exactly how tiny these blossoms are because they were in bloom by the millions in my town this spring. Your macro skills here are excellent, and the shading on the petals adds good depth and interest.
