No matter how old you get, you still pick one of these up, blow on it and make a wish. Well, at least I do. Love how you have captured it lying on it side full of seeds and lots of detail. The composition, lighting and exposure are magical. Good luck I the contest.

This is fantastic. I love the black and white rendition. It's soft but the details are sharp and on point. It gently lays on this table or bench. Your story is truly lovely. Sad yet encouraging

its a sad story for the little girl who wasn't allowed more than one wish but in a way it shows how responsible the mom is and sets guidelines for her daughter.

Very good entry for the contest. Nice story accompanying this but sad that the little girl was only allowed one wish a month. The use of black and white adds impact to this image. Very good lighting and focus showing good detail in the seed head. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne
