This is a unique and creative picture. The lone, lonely, loner. Left to wait for the water to come back. I like the effect the water has left on the mud/sand. It kind of looks like some kind of skin of something. Very cool. Nice to look at. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest!! :D

Excellent choice of subject.
Aptly captured for the contest theme...
Sharply focused.
Fine features & textures.
Diminishing perspective.
Vanishing viewpoint.
Zenplistic presentation.
KISS principle..
Visually soothing & appealing.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

I very much enjoyed reading your detailed and kind review! Not sure though what you mean by the KISS principle?

Yeah,Nikman!
It looks like this one has been left 'High and (not exactly!)
Dry',doesn't it? : )
It's a fine looking photograph and a delightfully Out of the Ordinary looking one too! : )

This has such incredible hues of blue in it that are so relaxing and soothing to view. The sky is gorgeous and the grooves in the sand really created a beautiful design which adds tremendous interest to this shot. Well taken and beautifully presented. A real pleasure to view.

Hi Nikman, Your title for this is definitely an understatement ! Love the blue hues in this. Sky and water almost blending into each other. The beach looks dramatic with the wet groves of sand. POV is great! Lighting and DOF very nicely done! Good Job! :o) Helvi

What a beautifully lonesome capture! I love the monochromatic color of this piece and the texture of sea bed at low tide. It gives movement and drama to your piece. Very tranquil and lovely!

Great initial impact: this is a beautiful low tide scene, the mud flats create such interesting patterns with the water filling in the low spots, I like the blue tones over this image and the single boat out toward the left frame is also blue! Well placed horizon line with 1/3 sky and 2/3 water and land, this is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, well handled exposure , the colors and tones and variations of tone are natural. Very well presented! Best to you in the contest!

This is a lovely study in Blue. I like the way the rivulets from the mud flats lead the eye into the boat. The dull light reflecting from the blue gray sky gives the remaining water trails in the mud flats a nice glow. The purple blue mountain range on the horizon adds good depth.
