Nice shot of the barn swallow. The focus seems sharp and the details in the feather are quite visible. I would probably prefer that the bird was not looking directly at the camera. Because of this you lose some of the details in the head and face structure. Nice catch lights in the eyes. well seen and well taken.

His colors are gorgeous! Love rainy days! You have fine focus, nice details and fine DOF.
I really like that he is looking towards your lens.
I would only suggestion selectively lightening around the head eye area.
Nice capture of a bird I have never seen.
