difficult to sketch so many horses as legs and body forms of the creatures can become confusing and messy but you have done well and i like your mixture of tones to depict the different colours of the horses

My goodness. How many things have you posted lately...?? Your husband had better get back soon...lol.

This is remarkable. Deb (my wife) would love it. She is a horse freak. Me? I like about 150 horses under me at a time...Anyway, truly a wonderful work of art.

Notes on the redo:
Yes, this is better. The way you lightened of the 4th horse, gives is a much better read.
Good job!

A nicely done image here of horses running through the field.
Your skills are definitely improving on the rendering and shading side of the equation.
What is not working for me here is the horse on the far right. Its a little off, almost as if the horse immediately to the left has two heads.
The shading and highlights need to be softened more as horses's coast generally glisten in the sunlight from my recollection.
A nice solid piece overall however. Keep at!!!

Stunning. Presented very well in this viewing box. Great facials on the horses and I think that 4 was spot on in this presenting. Cute, fun, artsy and gorgeous black and white. Your great at this.

I like what you've done with this, Linda, showing the four wild horses frolicking through the grass. You've achieved a great sense of movement in this with the manes flying out and the position of the legs and tails. Love the detail in the grass, too. The use of black and white adds impact to the image. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Best I've seen yet. The no color but lots of details. Much of how I Express my drawing. So this I can connect with. Hope you be able to see what I have to share this year.

Horses are a favorite subject of mine! These are so beautiful ! I like the black and white tones used here, four horses in the wild, running through a field, I like the way you show the motion in this work in their mane and the positions of their necks as well as in their legs and hoofs and tails, I like the grassy field they are running through! Beautiful work Linda!
