attractive piece and that could very well be the bright yellow palette of the finch...for me the bird sits too high and becomes slightly lost and the hand takes over..i would like to have seen the hand lower on the canvas and the bird taking centre stage

Nicely done on this. I love the way you did the rendering.
Its a solid piece of work and shows a talented hand. The bird needs a bit more pop/shading around it to pull it from the background a bit. It looks a tad flat.

What a wonderful artwork, Linda. This is every bit deserving of a 6 because it is different looking. I haven't seen anything like this on here. It is a very cool design. Love the texture. The yellow bird stands out and is well drawn. Very nice presentation.

Very well created , bright yellow bird with black wings and tail feathers and a black spot on his head, nice orange beak and feet, I like the way he is perched on your hand , nice detail in the hand as well as it's well shaped and proportionate,I like the white nail polish too.
