I love this piece! And cudo's for doing such an elegant wet on wet black and yellow design that has such dynamism and movement. I also like the turquoise that peeps through around the edges - very nice contrast! A really great piece! Thank you for sharing!

I never would have thought about adding coconut milk to paint. To me this painting makes me think of something you would see under a microscope, which gives it a very unique look. This seems like it was very fun to paint and you were very creative :) Thanks for sharing :)

Well that's cool! Some of my favorite colors as well. It looks like either a pissed off troll, angry green man or some kind of green blob man about to have a word.
Nicely done textures, colors and presentation.
Love it!

You ideas amaze me. I know that coconut milk smells nice, but I have never heard that someone uses it for paint-effects. It works. It created a lacy overlay, looking a bit like water spelling over cracked stones after a rainstorm.

I understand that, I know the smell of fresh coconut.

Another beautiful creation, this time the yellow and black form the flower, the Black creates a lacy pattern over the yellow petals, the center is yellow and almost star shaped, beautiful texture in the petals , this really works well with the blue/ green background, this could be a type of tropical flower with a very large face, the black could be the shadows and the bright yellow is where the sun lights it. It's really beautiful to view!

Many thanks for your great review. I saw a clip online about trying the effects of different additives to paints - I've tried washing up liquid, different glues, etc and am still experimenting but having fun! Suzanne

Haha! Yes, it smells so good and when it interacts with the paint it can produce interesting cells. It's also a hair serum! I'm glad you like this one. Suzanne

This is an interesting technique producing an interesting pieced.
I think I would prefer that it weren't cut off on the left side.
But that's just me.
Well done.

Thanks so much, Sharon, for your nice review. The canvas I used was extra small so I ran out of space! Just experimenting with different techniques. Suzanne
