Your talent is impressive. You really captured her likeness well. I like how clean your work looks, with such an elegant shading and highlighting technique.

Absolutely stunning. Spot on capture of a real beauty. Can't find any suggestions for improvement. Do wonder what it would look like with the red lipstick colour added. Thanks for sharing.

Do not need a name to know whose work this is. You have a wonderful style all your own.

Your shading/shadow work especially is exquisite. You got her look....her attitude just perfectly. The best of luck to you w/ this piece in the Open Challenge.

The portrait is done beautifully, but her eyes should be made with more deepness, and details, They look not alive, or, may be it was done on propose, thanks for sharing.

Lovely portrait of the beautiful Marilyn done in graphite pencil. Excellent light and shade depicted. I love how you've shown the different textures of hair and skin and the dark background works very well to show her off perfectly. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

A gorgeous graphite pencil portrait of the famous Marilyn. So realistic are her facial features...the eyes so expressive and stunning and draw you into this piece. The hair is beautifully created as are the shading and blending with graphite. Your choice of black and white makes this a powerful piece. Your play with light and shadows brings her to life putting that personality on display that was Marilyn. The long neck shows how beautiful she was and facial proportions and body proportions are good. Your dark background compliments you work beautifully. A creative and talented art work. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!
