When I think of Ireland I mostly think of the color green! I like seeing the other shades of green and yellow in the landscape. The light on the water is attractive and the darker grey of the boat makes the shape stand out well and provides a nice contrast.

Alone, alone, on a dark sea...Wouldn't it have been great if the motor was not on there? It would be perfect, like a soul adrift. A very pleasing photograph with very nice colors.

The focus it excellent, but for me, the photo is unattractive. The rocks surrounding the boat are all covered in moss making the boat stand out as the center of attraction. Yes, that is the point of focus, but the surroundings so not compliment the feel of the photo.

Nice one here NIKMAN. I like the isolated look with the boat seemingly suspended among the mounds of grasses. I just got Photo Shop and now have an idea what you mean by levels and curves. Nice work ~ Steve

What a lovely scene of this anchored boat with a mostly monochromatic tone. Its very interesting to me how it got there being that it is surrounded by some shallow water and lovely beach shore. The colors are unique and give this photograph a real artistic touch. Pleasure to view.

The camera settings have captured a scene with deep DOF and overall image sharpness from fore to aft.
The main element of this composition is well positioned a-mid-ships in the frame.
Nice initial visual impact.

Five stars for you because the overall composition is so outstanding. I think this photo would have been more powerful in black and white because the mustard-colored plant life looks like hay or something artificial. I am confident it is exactly as you saw it, but the colors are such a stark difference from what I remember about Alaska that it photo does not uplift me.
