Very nice. I really like the way you rendered the stamen as they have this wonderful painted like feel. Great placement as the brighter center is well accented by the darker purple petals. Great entry for the contest. Best of fortune in the voting ~ Steve

The center of this purple, royal, flower is exploding in your picture, which is centered perfectly to showcase this scene. The contrast between the soft petals and the sharp ends of the center make for a marvelous shot.

A beautiful and well detailed center of this clematis. I think the exposure is perfect, and the view is symmetrically framed by the beautiful colored petals.
