First off, let me congratulate you on a splendid job of White Balance control in this capture.

The high contrast between the far snow covered peaks and the near evergreens sets a cool mood.

I see by your notes that you used a polarizer - Kudos.

The capture is framed in the classic landscape tradition.

Camera technique is top notch.

Deep DOF with incredible sharpness and focus.

Well done and pleasant to look at ... B-)) Bob

Why haven't I seen this magnificent landscape on a calendar? Everything about this photo is grand---the cold, clear mountain and the perfectly sized evergreens to frame it. Bravo!

What a great landscape scene here Pat. Everything is in balance. The foreground trees nicely frame the lake with the mid scene trees providing a great backdrop for the water. The majestic mountain towering over the entire scene add such a nice dramatic look and feel. The clouds are a fine bonus. Really well seen and captured Pat ~ Steve

This is a great shot over the water to the opposite shore and the impressive mountain in the background. I find the clouds in front of the mountain especially interesting. It is an indication of the high altitude, I think. The trees in the foreground frame the interesting sky reflection nicely and give us an indication of the local plant life in the Wrangle Ranch.

I really like the snow capped mountains in this image and how snowy the clouds look in the background. The evergreens in the foreground help to create the depth of the image c

My firts thought when I saw this majestic view was from the book of Matthew.
Mathew 17:20 ~ "Our faith cam move mountains".
With all the negative things in the world, comments in the threads I believe we should all stop, Be Still and know that God is on the throne and we are are where we should be.
Less talk more doing... improving as a person and in ones craft.
Less is more.
Pat, I saved my last six for your work. This is a perfect "Be Still and Know" moment.
Simply stunning and I am always pleased to see white balance controlled without using mix media to hide obvious mistakes in camera settings.
Focus is sharp, clarity Perfect and details and colors are crisp.
Outstanding work behind your lens.
Bravo :)

Thank you so very very much! I really value and appreciate your review and opinion, this super six star rating is the icing on the cake! I agree with your lovely thoughts, I know that we are where we are supposed to be and I believe that God is in control, there is too much talk, it?s there to divide and confuse us, having faith really helps me to cope! I hope you have a most wonderful day!
