The beauty of the mountain is captured exquisitely in this photo. The view shows the height and ruggedness of the mountains of Alaska. You feel as if you are there looking at the monumental mountain.

Oh how I wish I had a 10 to give this capture. Sorry about the five but its all I have left, and I really have been wanting to comment on your work but have been away for a few days. This capture is breathtaking and truly is such a beautiful scene to present. The clarity and softness of the mountains are majestic and just make me think of God's domain. An incredible landscape scene that is over the top!

I like how you've framed the magnificent mountain with the fir trees on the left and bottom of the image, Pat, creating great depth to the view. The lake's smooth water reflects the mountain and sky, creating good contrast. Very good lighting and focus showing a lovely sharp image. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Hi Pat thank you for sharing this most superb photo of Copper Centre and that magnificent mountain peak Mt. St. Elias.. wow, just stunning.. I was only thinking of you today when snapping of some beach photos.. and thinking how awesome it would be to capture some of your snowy mountains just for a change.. ( not happening around my part of the world without a 10 hour drive in the peak of winter ).. I love the setting .. the scene is beautifully balanced with the needle shaped pines in the foreground proving an elegant frame around the river that flows beside the banks.. The rich green foliage provides a brilliant contrasting hue against that white snow blanketed mount.. and the border of pines that run along the opposite side of the river form a wonderful border to accentuate the peak perfectly. great reflective value seen on the water's surface, offering a nice feeling of depth in the foreground.. as for the magnificence of that mountain. I'm in awe of its beauty. the snow capped peak folds into the cloudy sky with so much harmony.. giving it a completely magical emotion. the fluffy white movement in the sky brings a feeling of richness and great depth of field as the sky almost seems to converge upon the peak.. the tracks of snow on the lower portion of the mountain brings it to life as though it has something to say.. telling a tale of what lies beyond.. stunning in every sense of the word.. though the temperature must be somewhat freezing, the emotion emanating from that mountain is warm and inviting.. as is the calmness of the river below with its glassy cover amid the greenery.. there is a feeling of true harmony in this scene.. where life and love of nature unite as one.. thank you for sharing this epic view Pat.. as always, your scene is perfectly exposed, brilliantly balanced with just the right lighting to offer such clarity and enjoyment. it has been my absolute pleasure to review.. do you ever paint these scenes.. you should.. they are just amazing. . cheers mel

This is beautiful landscape photography. Great depth and clarity of the image.. The distant snowcapped mountains, the calm looking lake, the tall ciders in the foreground make it a well composed shot. Well done.!
