Wow Pat!!! When I first looked at this, I thought that it was two photos combined. It looks like the clouds are on the mountains. This kind of looks like a painting. Great job!!!

But this photo... WOW!! I am again awestruck by the beauty you captured. The mountains in the background and the paleness of the water surrounded by the dark green of the trees is STUPENDOUS!!! And I'm NOT saying it's "stupid", either. Not in the least.

The mountains are extraordinary and they are nicely complimented by the pine trees in the foreground. Beautiful colors and a great bit of reflection on the water.

This is indeed a great view, and the mountain in the background is indeed impressive. I like very much the foreground of pines as well, and you have captured such a fine shine and reflections in the water.
Your photo is pin sharp showing such clear and well defined details in the foreground trees, and the exposure is very good.
The format and framing is perfect and with the tall pine tree placed off to the left, it is a good balance in the composition.
A beautiful and well taken landscape photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is so stunning. No wonder why my mother wanted to see Alaska before she died. It never happened , but I do see what she was talking about in all your wonderful photos. You need to work for the Alaska travel bureau and get these works seen. Or are they in a book or gallery? They need to be, that's for sure.
