One of your very best photos, Supergold! The vertical sand ripples are very unusual and mesmerizing, and the colors are divine! If an artist painted this in watercolor or oil, the viewer would say, "Not realistic!" You proved them wrong.

    thanks a lot for your lovely comments; you are perfectlly right: I didn't indicate it waiting for an appropriate comment; it is the first time I see it: on this beach where I go often: could be due to a very fast retiring tide, but not sure;

The colors are beautiful and the strong horizontal lines would seem to make a more panoramic presentation a natural. Maybe some off the bottom and a little off the top.

This is so textural and warm. The coral and lavender light gives a warmth to the sand and sea as the sun sets. The wonderful ripples on the shoreline are so textural and appealing.

Interesting beach and sunset shot full of color. This has an almost abstract quality to it which could be brought out more with a different cropping. Nice details, interesting colors, a sense of movement. Well seen.

Great shot of the amazing ripples left in the sand by the receding tide, showing the pink reflections from the setting sun as it slips over the horizon. I like the angle you used for this. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

A very interesting looking beach , the ocean has left its mark on it as it goes out, like the shadows the light has caused showing the ripples, , very nice colors in the sky, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

I like the composition with the sand as the focus of the picture. Love the shades of color and the birds add interest as well. A lovely calming feel to it but can change oh so quickly when a storm brews.

Fred,
A peaceful & colourful twilight scene on the beach at Honfleur at low tide the peach /orange /pink colours in the sky reflected onto the wide expanse of wet ripped sands exposed at low tide with just a couple of sea birds walking along the water line feeding to be seen. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
