Wow! Amazing shot. You can almost feel the roar and power of the water as it rushes at you. I like the way you framed the bridge with only a hint of it showing. Nice exposure, lighting and details.

why is the town called China? odd name for a canadian town, but why not, there are many english names copied. That swirling mass is something we only on tv. fantastic, with the trees and the bridge. We have a river here, I keep putting pictures of it onto my facebook, it is clogged up with fallen trees etc the only really nice things on it are the ducks, but I do like to stop and watch it, on its sluggish way. the city is too busy building houses for our endless new immigrants, to care about the environment, though words are being spoken about the air, as so many people are getting asthma, which is the worst in the country after London. I have just been to have my lungs checked, a I am eternally breathless, yet only 15 years ago, I was climbing in the Peak District. Beautiful positioning as well as gorgeous surrounds.

Last year when I went for a short while Beijing was very polluted much more so than before, though my school was outside of Beijing, a long way, but called Beijing but I had not been teaching in Beijing, I was at a sea side place and out in the country. Sheffield were I live /in UK/ has the worst air pollution after London in UK. so I would not put any blame on the Yellow Sea!

Thank you so very much! It was a huge rock, it was pretty easy to step on to and I just sat down. These falls start at the opposite end of this photo, and they were just roaring! All of the snow is melting from the mountains so it really brings a lot of water into these falls!

WOWSER!!! I LOVE THIS! WONDERFUL CAPTURE (are you on a boat? It sure does look as though you are!). The colors are perfect and the rushing water gives the appearance of continual movement, even frozen in time. LOVELY!

Dynamic capture.
Well timed still motion shot.
Verdant overtone!
Subtle illumination.
Diminishing perspective. Vanishing viewpoint.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Pat this is a nice shot with lots of interest. You have captured the movement of the water well, slowed down just enough without smoothing it out. I would have like to have seen more of the bridge. It does help frame the shot, but it almost feels like an after thought. Good color and nice sense of environment.

Thanks very much! The part of this bridge that shows in green metal, is the best looking part of the bridge, it?s a let down on top, just an every day concrete bridge, they only put the green part under the actual bridge.

Pat,
A beautiful stop action picture of the Liberty falls under the arch of the bridge above it the water ,"boiling" as it tumbles over the rocks. The trees under the bridge gave me the idea I was looking at a cathedral spires, not built in stone but growing wood. Beautiful artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques,& sharp focus.

A very nice scene shot from a fine perspective. I like the exposure for the white water but would like to see just a bit more of the bridge.

Thank you very much! This is the part of the bridge that is attractive, it?s actually the under the bridge framework, the top portion that you drive on is a let down, it?s just a concrete bridge going across.i think they put this green metal framework so it would be attractive when viewed underneath.
