A pretty looking artwork. You have captured the essentials of the subject. Instinctive. Maintained the focus and objectivity. Good effort. Thanks for sharing!

this looks like an embroidery. My ex did not want me to paint when he was around, so I embroidered pictures as I had had to embroider as a girl at home.

a nice structure to the piece with the poppies being framed nicely by the foliage either side however for me the presentation lacks depth and is too flat on the canvas subsequently some mixture of darker tones would have done the trick

Attractive panel showing red poppies. The shape and color of the flowers id good and you have also shown the after pods as well. You have experimented with how you did this drawing and used different materials. Over all I think it is successful experiment. There is a nice softness in this piece. Well imagined.

Once again, I am impressed, I was just photographing Poppies today, I really appreciate the detail you have applied here to the Poppies in bloom as well as the poppy buds , again, you frame the beautiful Poppies with the shoots of leaves placed on each side, this really holds our eye on the flowers, I like that you chose red for these, they step forward from the pastel toned background. This is a beautiful floral piece and I really enjoyed viewing! Well presented Linda!

Well I only Know about photo papers for printing. I will leave the paper choices up to the artist when it comes to drawing.
I like the way the pastels have a soft painterly look and the crispness your outlining added to the flowers and leaves.
I love poppies so this is a lovely piece with you thinking outside your pastel box of colors.
Nice work Linda =)
