I do not know what this flower is but I love the shape and coloration of the blossoms. It is interesting how the stamens seem to protrude from a garlic shaped bulb in the center of the flower. The purple veins are lovely.

I don't think I have seen this flower before, but it is for sure beautiful, and also looks so delicate with the white and purple colors. I do however think the photo is a tad busy, but it would help a lot if you cropped the bottom just above the light green pistil.

Your focus is however spot on and sharp showing really clear and well defined details both in the petals and the stamens of your main flower, and the exposure is perfect.

I think this is a truly lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
