Quite an attractive and artistic looking photo of the moon posted here. Fine traditional composition grants us a reasonable look at it. Sharpness and exposure are OK. Nicely done!

You captured some nice detail of the moon! I also like the color of the sky and how the moons kind of just fades into it smoothly. There is a good amount of light that defines the shape of the moon nicely.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this daylight moon.
I can get better details on the moon with my compact camera if I take them in daylight after dark it's usually just a glowing disk in the sky.

Susan this is a beautiful and so amazingly clear photograph of the moon. I like the lighter sky as it gives it a different feel as opposed to the normal deep blue. This would've been a great entry for the contest. It's very well done and presented.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this daylight moon. With my compact camera I get better details in taking the moon by day rather than after dark when all I usually get is a glowing disk in the dark sky.
Don't mention contests the most I 've ever got was two votes & was disqualified a couple of times.
So I sledom if ever enter them

Wow Susan! That's a good hand held capture of the moon as it rises, it's still light out, but the moon shows good detail, well focused, the image is clear, well placed in the frame, it's a beautiful 3/4 moon!
