That's a great looking photo and it features a close relative of my very favorite type of flower ( Papaver Somnifurum ) and it's in my very favorite color too!
Is that a 'Good Show' or what? ( It certainly is as far as I'm concerned! : D )

Well captures orange poppy. The color is spot on. Good focus and you have avoided the waxy look that many poppy shots have. The center is well seen and very sharp. Nice shot, well seen.

Excellent closeup of this beautiful orange Poppy, Pat. I love the Oriental Poppies and used to have a few in my garden. These are a beautiful colour - such a vibrant orange. I like the angle you used, looking into the flower so that you can see all the intricate details of the centre. Very good lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Great composition. Suzanne

Excellent crisp presentation of one of the most amazing seed heads ever. I also like the little square framing.....well exposed. These orange-red Poppies are some of my favorites.....think you may have pushed your saturation just a tad far though.

Mine have just started to blossom too Pat.
Excellent crisp presentation of one of the most amazing seed heads ever. I also like the little square framing.....well exposed. These orange-red Poppies are some of my favorites.....think you may have pushed your saturation just a tad far though.
