WOW! LOVELY! GORGEOUS SHOT!! I love how the sun shining on the clouds doesn't overwhelm the photo, nor does the sun reflect off the snow and ice... we can actually SEE what's happening. LOVELY COLORS!

    Thank you so very much! The first question I am always asked by the tourists here is ? How do you sleep in the dayligh??

Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.
This is a semi surreal landscape vista!
Diminishing perspective leads us to those ghostly peaks against the warm skyline...
Vanishing viewpoint created greater depth...

Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

This photo is so striking it resembles a painting and a beautiful work of art. I'm amazed at all the snow seen recently and I love the beautiful baby blue sky in this shot. The suns light really makes the clouds look warm. Another beautiful work of art.

Beautiful picture here. I love the way you caught the sun on top of the clouds and the dark mountains below. you could almost be in two different places. Great job!

Quite an interesting photo presented here to me as a Brit because at over 3000 feet at this time of year(June) the mountains are not covered in snow! Your fine image benefits from being well composed, sharp with good exposure. Nicely done!

a wonderful mountainscape; obviously taken during summer, but when exactely? if everything works, I'll be by end July in Greenland, at the same latitude as Valdez;

    Thank you very much Fred! This was on June 14, there was fresh snow here in the Mountain Pass, I am excited for you , going to Greenland! I hope everything works out so you go and will look forward to seeing your photos! Valdez was free of snow and warmer then this area.

This is an intriguing image. It has the feel of a composite of a drawing or painting of the mountains place on a more realistic sky. I am sure it is the lighting and shadows but the details and colors in the mountains come off very flat. The colors in the sky are unusual but come off very well. Nicely
