This is my favorite breed of dog. I adore all dogs, but for some reason this breed immediately grabs my heart. Kaiser is a beautiful dog and I can see the intelligence in his eyes. Your exposure and composition are lovely. Besides Kaiser, I also especially like how you framed the path in the scene.

Hi Pat , well I just love your Kaiser and what a fabulous photo of him.. Great angle used to capture his stunning intelligent face that is totally focused on his mistress. your good self.. What a great coat of fur he is wearing.. looking so handsome and well groomed and that back leg truly sets off the pose perfectly. His erect ears show his prompt attention to your command.. and it is obvious he is so willing to please.. That pink tongue just hanging out there proudly for all to see. Lovely straight front leg stance.. .. I can only imagine after being trained just how very obedient he is.. Shepherds are such smart dogs and with the correct training.. totally awesome animals to share life with. He looks just like my ' grand dog... but he was never trained and has so much potential... great exposure and lighting give me a lovely clear crisp view of your Kaiser as he stands there on the wooden walkway amid the greenery.. Such a happy photo and his love for you is truly obvious Pat.. enjoy the journey with him for many more years to come. . and thanks for sharing this awesome photo.. cheers mel

What a great looking dog. He clearly gets plenty of exercise. How do you manage getting out with him during the deep winter? Good photo with path motion leadin to the main subject and beyond.

Thank you so very much! We get out all year round! I was born here and am very used to the winters, I?m not fond of them but just layer on warm clothes and go!

Looks like you have a grand dog there! Your slightly off-centre composition allows us an enjoyable look at him. I presume he had been doing some running around to make his tongue stick out? Exposure and sharpness are fine. Well done!
