Good view, balsa wood is a very good creative type of crafty material, if that is the terminology softwood, very interesting, educational, well presented, i like this fascinating submission, good photography.

Good Luck!

Not quite balsa wood Angela but close. 'Softwood' is what we call Cedar type trees here in the Northeast. Thank you for checking this piece out and I do appreciate the fine review you've given it.

Hi Deb thanks for sharing a lovely snap shot of your amazing home landscape during the cooler season. alas it's winter here in Aus but definitely no snow in my neck of the woods. Your stately cedars provide a lovely avenue to ponder along.. with their wonderful weaving web of fine limbs forming a canopy above the walkway. I can almost visualize you snow shoeing through the magical maze of tall timbers.. and what a great place for oncoming spiders to spin a million webs.. or is it too cold for spiders to exist in your winter months.. The pattern of shadows cast over the blanket of snow beneath adds to the beauty and intrigue .. in my minds eye I wonder how amazing this scene would be when the beautiful foliage returns in spring.. great angle used to capture your cedars.. offers a feeling of depth of field as the trees merge into the background. showing that glimpse of blue sky through their woven branches.. thanks for sharing a delightful portion of your amazing property Deb.. it offers so much spendor regardless of the time of year. It has been a delight to review.. cheers mel

ah Mel it is just wonderful to find one of your reviews again!! So....no, no spiders in the winter here but there are plenty of them now...lol This spot here in this image looks very different right now for sure. Everything is green and it's much more of a challenge to get through.....but it's just as beautiful. Thank you dear Mel for giving my piece one of your always so delightful reviews. They are such a pleasure to receive and I hope you know how much I appreciate each and every one.

Hi Deb!
While I simply despise winter and wish that this great Hot Weather could last right through next January ( at least! ) I'm certainly enjoying this classy looking scene that you've presented us with here! : )

LOL I actually don't mind the hot weather outside Sean but wish I had AC when it gets hot and humid INSIDE my house as well. Thank you so much for having a look here. Do appreciate the really nice review. Flower coming up next! lol

Nice alliterative title & short description.
Dramatic capture of this seemingly dynamic image brought about by the nice interplay between lights and shades.
The crisscrossing branches and twigs lend visual interest.
Subdued lighting.
Pin sharp focusing.
Compact framing.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

All right, given that it has been horribly hot and humid here in New York State,I guess you can get away with a Winter photo-lol! Have to admit that it does look refreshingly cool, and it is very pretty.Yes,walking through the woods is basically stepping into the cathedral that God has made with his own two hands, very serene and holy.It beckons, asking you to step inside and view the miracle of nature that surrounds you,to find peace, even for a short while. Thanks for sharing,Deb! :) LeeAnn

The trees look like they're making way for you, like a military wedding LOL. Good colors. I like the contrast of blue, white and dark brown. Good, wide shot. Great depth look. Stay warm. Won't say stay cool. LOL. Take care.

LOL Yes swimmer.....rarely do we have heat and humidity for this long in VT. No AC so there's no getting away from it either. But.....I do really appreciate you checking out my very 'cool' piece and thank you so much for your very generous rating!!
