A wonderful picture of your Peachy pink Rose that is able to survive your harsh winters glowing out from it's dark background yet to open fully but half way there showing the slight differences in colour on the petals. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Deborah, this is such a soft and romantic image of a rose. One can almost picture a knight on blended knee presenting it to his lady before he leaves on his quest. The coral pink shades of the petals are so appealing. The crisply furled petals are perfectly shaped.

A fine shot of a beautiful rose. We have these in the neighborhood. A number of houses have them in the front yard. What can I say? Northern California where things grow all year round.
I love the texture of this. The viewer can really feel the soft petals and smell the light rose scent.
Well framed and composed as we have come to expect from your many wonderful shots.
The soft gradient/blurred background going from green to a darker deep bluish green tis very nice.

ahhh...growing things year round Trajan. What a treat THAT would be. All I can say is my VERY VERY short growing season here makes me really appreciate what I DO grow.....and makes me extra careful to photograph them well so I can see them scroll by on my screen saver during all those months when they DON'T grow....lol Thank you so much for giving my ROSE such a really lovely review. Do so appreciate it.

awwww...you see it too then John. Yes, the day I photographed this guy I could see it was giving it's all. Told you my flowers just seem to know when I'm out there w/ my camera and they show off for me lol So yes, it's 'essence' was on display for me. Do really appreciate your words re: contest and sincerely thank you for 'encouraging' me lol to enter a flower in a contest. Fingers crossed doll. Thank you for all .....including the shiny gold star !
