I particularly like your composition with the Rose breaking the blue border! I feel that there could be a bit more shadow under the petals to make it pop,. Watercolors are difficult I am so heavy handed due to using oils, I have tried Watercolors it is a whole other beast .

I like the texture of the paper and the way you painted the flowers outside their frame giving them a three D like look.
Lovely soft colors, details and fine placement within the frame.
Nicely done Linda ;)

I love the floral scene you have created here! The rose is beautiful. I like how some of the buds and leaves extend over the edge of the frame. I also like the texture on the frame.

I like the soft pastel colors you used in this water color Linda. I think that the background blue frame is a unique way to emphasize the rose. This is so easy on the eyes and pleasant to the senses. Very nicely done Linda ~ Steve

I think your rose turned out very well. The petals are well defined and have lots of nice detail to their patterns. Your color blending looks good and I like the effect of having the buds and leaves coming off the canvas.

Subtle re dition ifnanlovely rose bloom with several buds
Against a visually soothing sky.
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Great technique of rendering like it protrude from a frame.
You can even make it look like it float by adding a very faint shadow behind the blue backdrop.

Thanks for sharing...
