Interesting story,,pelicans cant fish on their own? this looks cute though and he looks like a big bully compared to the cormorant, lol this is a lovely action shot,,keep your eyes on your fish lol

Thank you for the review :) The pelican do fish on their own by scooping their mouth pouches into the water. I'm not sure why they go after the cormorants. I guess they think it's fun and leads to a free lunch sometimes :)

This is a lovely photo.
I love how its seems that he is walking on water trying to get to his next meal.
Great job in getting all of that splashing water.
The other looks like "get me the heck out of here with my meal".

A brilliant stop action picture of the Pelican chasing the Cormoant with the fish across the water's surface the spray it creates frozen by your fast exposure. It's broken reflection an added bonus. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice shot that shows the action clearly. The composition is excellent and the detail in both the pelican and the cormorant are very good. Great colors and an attractive bit of a reflection.

Stop action is superb on both birds which is difficult to achieve unless you shoot in high shutter speeds.
