I love this kind of art work, were it's just all pastel colors. I like the designs in the leaves, and how it looks like its hanging from a big tree over some tiny flowers. Very great job.

ALinda,
A imaginative composition of the flower meadow with the beautifully coloured & patterned leaves floating on the breeze above it. Created with very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours in bringing the scene to life.

lovely gentle meadow under the highly patterned leaves. What is friskit? the colours compliment the meadow. At first glance it looks like two separate paintings amalgamated into one piece. Both delicate and one strongly patterned.

Friskit is a masking fluid. Thank you so much.

You're greatly improving in your meticulous rendition of detailed subjects!
Patience & perseverance is significant in compositional styles like this.
Harmonious colors.
Fine features & textures.
3-dimension rendition make these fantabulous leaves seem to float or levitate.

Your use of the medium in this piece is good, but I don't think the composition holds together as well as some of your others. It is like the picture is n't sure where it wants to go, so the various parts aren't talking to each other IMHO. Is it a fantasy or is it a meadow scene? Is it pop art or is it representational? I think the various elements are probably well done, they just don't work together.

I like the light airy feeling you have in this lovely watercolour painting, Linda. I like all the varied patterns in the leaves and the delicate colours you used. Great use of washes. Lovely composition. Suzanne

I think this turned out beautifully. The designs in the leaves are very attractive and your color choices look great. I like the tiny flowers in the foreground and the lovely undertones of the background.

The blue spectrum is definitely you.
I am not sure what a color wash is, but it sure works for this piece.
The finely detailed leaves in a diagonal arrangement with the plant stems makes this piece an eye catcher.
Lots of initial impact from a wide range of harmonious colors.
Your use of proportional sizing gives this work a 3-D effect, well done ... B-)) Bob

Thank you so very much. A color wash is when you thin your water color and add it to the scene without leaving hard edges. Easier said than done.

My husband uses friskits when he does his airbrush backgrounds on his pieces.
Your use of color and details is very good here.
I can see textures even though this piece is a flat surface. Very nicely done!
