A meticulously sharp image with beautiful colors. This spread winged pose is certainly eye catching. It is rare to get such a shot with such a plain background.

His/ herdance is so comical. It is as though S/he is having a nervous tizzie. I love the wing spread and the shadow. Their colorations are very interesting an$ I like red orange ring around the big eye.

LOL. A perfect capture of this Killdeer. I have often seen the broken wing technique as we would always happen upon a ground nesting bird as kids. And we always knew because they would start making their noise and dance. I have not seen the other display as you captured here. Great work in showing the display in action. Perfect focus and placement in the frame. Really nice work Grace ~ Steve

Well focused, the image is clear, well controlled exposure, colors and tones are natural, nice details throughout, great eye contact , complete with catch light !i love his mighty little pose !
