So beautifully written are your words to compliment this stunning sunset scene. When you are looking for beauty ....you find it and there is nothing like living in the moment. I love the foreground interest and the reflection on the water and that glow across the sky just speaks volumes to the soul. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

Well I love your notes BB!! ...and the way you've titled your new piece.

....AND your methodology section. The light surrounding your bird is wonderful. Wherever you cropped you did it well. Old eagle eyes sees nothing. Now was the moon there?? It is striking in the image and I am also fascinated that someone piled these stones up like this. Well done piece dear BB.

Thanks BB. Actually that is the sun setting. I think I posted one with the reflection on the water between these two particular rock piles. This is one of 30 -40 I took of various formations in Puerto along the beach. It is amazing to watch how they carefully stack these stones on upon the other. Always glad to have you drop by and have a look. Hope all is well ~~ BB

I am well BB. My phone is not....or the connection is not. I have tried setting it down everywhere in the house but have had no bars for almost a week now. Should have kept my land line. So there won't be any warning....once I see some bars I am just going to call and take my chances. OK? ...and thought I remembered seeing stacks of stones before from you....still just as fascinated by them today.

A very interesting image captured and created here, like the orange light added around bird, thought it was a seagulls chasing the sun, very nice sillohettes, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

What a great message. Sadly too many people don't live in the moment, and waste so much of their time being discontent or even malcontent by petty, mundane things that are truly meaningless in the moment or the big picture. I like the stacked rocks being the foreground of this shot and the bird is so fitting. The light on the water between the rocks is captivating.

Thank you so much Grace. You are so right. We can get so distracted by all the "Activity and noise" that surrounds us. I think that is why we each need to take some time and step away from the Tornado of stuff that we often get caught up in. Back to a Human Being and away from a Human Doing. Thanks again Grace ~ Steve

I like this photo and the story, I wish the moon had just been a micro higher above the rock but that may have detracted from the story; great photo for an iphone.

Thank you so much Linda for your review. Actually that is the sun setting and not the moon. This is one of 30 - 40 shots that I took of the numerous stacked rock figures. I placed the sun in many different positions including the center with a nice reflection on the water between the two formations. I think I posted one before so it might be in my portfolio. Thanks again for your review ~ Steve

Oh yeah..A fabulous reminder and stunning shot here.
I love the figure on the right...Its as if it is trying to explain enlightenment to the figure on the left. The right figure, with the sun/light right at the first chakra, expanding outward. Evening Johnathan Livingston Seagull is in the frame! One of my most favorite books ever!
Really well captured and presented!
Nice!!!!

Thank you so much Trajan. You are the First one to note the particulars I was trying to say with this scene. But then it is no surprise to me. I too love Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Certainly one of my favorites. Thank you for the affirmation and the Grand rating my friend ~ Steve

What a beautiful photograph, very eye catching with the dark silhouettes of the stones and splash of orange light.A very spiritual shot and your narrative sound s like the teachings of Buddha. Would like to have seen the the sun centred between the stones but that's just my thoughts. Love it though, great job.
