So seldom do we see an eagle on the ground in such a commanding position. Excellent photo overall and his white head against the blue/gray water really draws the viewer to the bird's alert eyes.

They look so majestic and fierce in the wild...especially when hunting for salmon or other prey. I like the granite rock he is perched upon and the wispy grasses blowing in the breeze.
