What a beautiful eye on this bird! I like the yellow and gray coloring. The angle it is perched is so interesting. The rough lichen covered bark with the healed area where the branch broke off are nice textural elements.

What an interesting bird and one that apparently is very difficult to photograph due to its level of motion. Even if this bird had been sleeping, its feathers would merit a photo! Excellent focus. The bird's position on the log made challenging cropping---you succeeded!
