yes, I did several snowy scenes when I was in Austria at Christmas and the same applies.Beautiful summer scene, the gentle colours you used add to that feeling of gentle summerness and bees buzzing somewhere in the distance, /on your painting/ Do you actually see a lot now? I seem to remember many more as a child in Bavaria than I do here in England, or maybe the times have changed, I lived in a lovely village surrounded by fields back then and live in an industrial city now.

I love this painting The flowers remind me of the impressionists. I especially love your overall balance of the composition , It feels as if I am standing over the bee watching him land. Less is more Great work !

    Welcome, Linda!

It is hard for me to believe that you were just learning this. You are tackling all of the most difficult things early in the experiment. Very well done on the white flowers. I have seen Deb struggle with white. It is very difficult. Very good work on the detail and the shape of the flowers. The bee is quite cute. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much Paul. I have always figured if you tackled the hard stuff the easy stuff would be no problem. Complex ones teach me more. There are things I will do differently on the next one. It is a learning process. Thanks for you continued support and encouragement.

Linda this a very nice watercolor painting. I'm sorry I don't have any 6* left. The colors and tones are lovely. The bee is perfect, you placed the main subject off the center on this one. I love it! I want to see more watercolor art from you Linda!!!

What a great looking bee! I really like how you have created texture in his body . I think you did a spectacular job with the white flowers too. The shading give the petals very nice depth and detail.

I too am happy with the progress you are making as you grow in your water color work.
I especially like the vintage style/ look.
Beautiful soft colors, fine details and lovely soft textured like background.
Nice work Linda

I wish members would work more on improving instead of working on their rank. Every time I go out shooting I learn something.
