Indeed and beautifully captured. I have only ever been to Dublin and thoroughly enjoyed it there, loved it so much would have liked to have moved there, but this is gorgeous.

Beautiful landscape scene with an excellent composition with nice movement in your image. Good foreground interest ....the composition has great depth of field which draws the eye into your photography. So much beauty found in the natural colors. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

Beautiful landscape scene with an excellent composition with nice movement in your image. Good foreground interest ....the composition has great depth of field which draws the eye into your photography. So much beauty found in the natural colors. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing!

Wow. The landscape looks like the cut stump of a giant tree, and the way it slants is a little scary. Excellent composition, good focus and depth of field.

Such a beautiful image and this will make a great entry for sure. Is this in Ireland by any chance. The water looks cold and the land is hilly and green. The sky is cloudy like in Ireland. I love everything about this one. Good luck in the contest as this should do well.

Very good entry for the contest. Great seascape showing the two interesting headlands jutting out into the sea, the distant one looking softer against the cloudy sky. Very good lighting and focus. Great composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Nik,
A beautiful scene up there in the "Wee North" at Carrickfergus with the Light in the foreground & the green fields on the far shore sloping down from the rocky cliffs. A cops of tall trees in silhouette against the pale sky on the hills crest, more trees & farm buildings along the ridge. The overcast cloudy sky reflected on the ripples on the sea between the Light & the far shore. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. A place I've yet to visit.

This shot is so captivating. I love the lighthouse on the left, the island, the water, and the weather adds a nice touch so its not overexposed at all. the colors are beutiful and the angle is perfect.
