Beautiful in flight capture of the great white egret, nice freeze of the action, this is well focused, clear to view, well exposed with good white balance, I love wide spread wings! Well placed in the frame with plenty of room to move in to! Well presented, beautiful to view!

Really lovely shot, Gracie. I can't get enough egret shots. Especially when they are in flight. What a great vantage point you had here. So nice to see a shot from up above. Nice camera techniques lead to an image that is a joy to see.

Wow! BEAUtiful as always Gracie!!! I love the angle of this shot of the Great White Egret. This image is clear and your notes are very helpful. The snow white bird looks great on dark background. I guess you usually spend a lot of time waiting for a perfect shot. You deserve another six* for your talent. I made my record giving away have of my highest rating to the same person in one day. Here's another beautiful avian creature that has a wonderful Pterosaurian look about it,Grace! ( Right up to its elegant white plumage which it's theorized was the color of the hair-like scales that many of the larger 'Super Pterosaurs' probably had! )

Thank you very much! I was so happy that he flew in my direction! The pond that he was sitting in was in a little valley and I was standing up the hill as high as i could get. It made for a great vantage point, especially when he flew towards me!

This image shows off the magnificent wingspan of this snowy white egret quite well. I like ve the fan like spray of feathers on the tail and wing tips. The feet stretched out behind in flight and the ruck of that long neck is so interesting.
