What an artistic peeble that looks like all its color came from the sea. I remember painting rocks as a child, but never this pretty! Perhaps it's your technique but the colors blend so beautifully and flow so naturally. Just like nature!

What a great item to use this technique with! I might have to do this :) I really like how the design flows so nicely over the rock and the colors mixed well and created a nice pattern.

It is always nice to see alternate approaches to art. Your grandchildren must be finding this exciting! I like the abstract treatment given caressing the surface of the pebble! Thanks for sharing!

I love it, what a creative use for this technique. The blues flow and look like they are a part of the stone. The stone's textures add to the overall look. I see a new item shoing up in gift shops. Well done.

This is excellent. Your creativity is amazing. You have changed an ordinary rock to an work of art. Your unusual mix of colors, glue and coconut milk give this pebble the appearance of a precious stone.

Oh this is just so very pretty! I love the colors you used to create this! These particular tones work so well and really compliment each other! It's a sea pebble , it's got some faces, it's got some eyes, but mostly, it's just beautiful to view! Very well presented!

What a clever idea! This would look so cool as a display in a flower bed instead of mulch. I am definitely going to have to try this. Thanks for the inspirational idea! It will be perfect in these colors to keep the grass from creeping under my pool fence.

Many thanks, Linda, for your great review. I'm glad you are inspired to try some yourself. They are such a lot of fun to do. The only prep I did for the pebbles was to wash them. So far the acrylic paint seems to stick well. I've not varnished any yet but was thinking, like you, of giving them as presents so might have to varnish them later. I think they'll need to wait 2 or 3 weeks before varnish can be applied. Let me know how you get on. Suzanne

Thanks, I will let you know when I try them.
