The red admiral is beautiful! I can relate to the photographers many photos that had to be taken to get the one that was just right. Been there too often. giggle. The photo is exquisite but the unfortunate thing is that the flower is pink. That actually detracts from the amazing color of the butterfly. It is still an amazing photograph. Thank you for sharing.

A perfect shot. Butterflies are hard to catch. The won't pose, but most the time fly away soon they are in focus.
The Admiral and the flower are crisp focused, even the antennas have perfect detail. I like the composition. The butterfly is well placed into the frame. The brushed background emphasizes the insect nicely.
