Beautiful! Azaleas are a corsage all alone. They have such beauty in their clump of blossoms...And you have captured that here.

Your colors are interesting. I would not have thought the copper color in the bg would accent this color of flower...but is works. It seems to be a golden vase holding this beautiful bloom.

Your tight crop works...as does your thin border. Well done. And what beauty you have from nature surrounding your home. Such a blessing.....

Excellent close up, Deborah, showing this beautiful Azalea from your garden and thank you for your interesting notes, as always. The softened background makes a perfect frame with the narrow border added. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully crisp image of all the intricate twists and curls of the lovely petals. Great composition. Suzanne

what a beautiful flower BB. I like the shallow depth of field as just the edges of the petals are in sharp focus. The colors are soft and pastel which gives a nice calm peaceful feeling. Another Great flower posting. Very well done ~ Steve

And flowers are the light of your life. How appropriate! Such a beautiful azalea, Deb, and your capture shows off all its features perfectly; the delicate petals, the fine stamen filaments, and elegant color. All with great detail and clarity and up close and personal. Very well done! Ed.

A beautiful flower that is shown in very fine detail. I like the tight cropping and the separation from the background. The colors are outstanding and the image is superior in all technical aspects.

I do definitely appreciate the wonderful review and very excellent rating MM. Had a bit of trouble framing this fat little blossom exactly how I wanted it to look..... so thank you for your very generous review and rating.

Your camera settings are well established and have produced a high resolution image of good contrast, color and tonal range.

I see soft highlights and faint shadows which add a dramatic touch.

Tack sharp focusing. I can make out the petal crenellations exceedingly well, and the Stamens are equally sharp and distinct.

Compact framing under bright lighting makes this take a true piece of 'Eye Candy'.

So your Azaleas have just gone by? I have 3 shrubs that all went into full blossom around the middle of May. Apparently 170 miles makes quite a difference.

I have found this particular blossom difficult to image for some reason, but I will keep trying.

This is a really well planned and executed take ... OMP

I have two OMP that are exceedingly late....this one and the peach one you can see in the background. All the other AZALEAS were done blossoming a good month ago. In fact the earliest one has new buds already. So appreciate you seeing the 'planning' here. This fat little blossom had me checking it out from all angles....I really wanted IT and no others in the image. Anyway, thank you for giving it such a wonderfully thorough review. You are a peach my friend.

I love the vibrant color and enjoy the detail especially the tiny red purple veins in the flowers, They look so delicate I also like how you really softened the background so that there is color but no detail to take away from the main subject

Thank you John for the really fine review here and for noticing the background. Was a bit tricky framing this blossom just the way I wanted so do appreciate you noticing.

I love this cluster of tissue paper textured petals. The vibrant fuschia shades make for a stunning display in the garden. I love the long pink filaments of the stamens and the red headed anthers. The coppery mottled backdrop is quite pleasing against the fuschia colors.
