Lovely acrylic painting and great use, recycling previously used paper - I do that, too! I love this view on the Norfolk coast. My eldest son lives near there and I've stayed there with him. I've never seen this wonderful sight, though. Love all the different positions of the various birds. The foreground grasses and rocks provide depth to the view. I love the subtle colours you used in this. Excellent light and shade. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

I love the migration. The bird in the foreground gives you an idea of what kind of birds they are, and off they go, into the wild, blue yonder.

This is a very well done artwork. I like how you show the different sizes and types of birds especially the flock that looks like black specks. The light from the sky is well done and reflects on the water nicely. The sky is beautiful with it's many tones of pink, purple and blue. The foreground gives the artwork perspective. Great image and good luck in the contest.

Thank you for your review and comments. It is a real place, I visited many time .... my brother was a member of the sailing club there and I stayed with my kids in his caravan many holidays. I loved the area and remember it well.

A beautiful picture of that wild Norfolk coast at Snettisham, on the Wash showing the mud flats along the coast with swoops Gulls calling & flying over head with the Murmuration of Starlings rising & falling & appearing to dance in the sky above you then "pour like liquid" towards the ground before rising again a truly wondrous sight to behold. Created with very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bring this wondrous sight to life.

A great review and helpful. I often visited this area when I was younger as my brother had a sailing yacht and was a member of the sailing club there. We often stayed in his caravan with my kids and where art and beautiful scenery is concerned I am lucky that I have a retentive memory, now ha ha people I remember but often forget their names.
I was a bit worried about the bird in the forefront when I painted this and did actually look up some referencing for this.

Thank you for your review and comments. The beached boat was my brother's idea and as I was doing the painting for his new home I included it but not in the position he first suggested. He liked it tho ..... where I put it.
