Wow, this guy looks gigantic! He is practically bigger than the marigold! You captured some nice detail of his body, and the pattern of his wings shows well.

A very nice close up with your phone Chuck. I can appreciate the challenges of getting a clear macro shot with a phone camera. Sharp details of the hairs on the back and a wonderful sheen on the wings. Just a thought: cloning out the blue would eliminate the object which tends to pull the eye away from that wonderful bumblebee. Great work here Chuck ~ Steve

Thanks for the nice review. Yeah that darn blue cage rim. Gotta be honest - cloning is not my best skill; gotta get better at it. Have a great weekend.

Oh now that is a prize! I've never seen a bee look cute and cuddly before! I actually didn't realize they had fuzz on their backs! EXCELLENT! Daphne Oberon

bees are so hard to shoot because they never hold still long enough to get in focus. You did a great job here. It's slightly blurred but that is to be expcted when you have a bee whose looking for pollen. Over all the detail and colors added together make this a wonderful picture.

Yes, I have certainly enjoyed looking at your fine nature shot! Your fine full and central composition grants us an enjoyable look at your bee and bloom. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

Compact framing of a visually appealing image.
Sharply focused, well timed still motion shot.
Provocative dance ritual with a Freudian undertone...

Endearing and sexy...
Subtle illumination casts a dramatic soft highlights & faint shadows..

Thanks for sharing...

LOL - I like the humor in the title, because it actually looks like the bumble bee is hugging the flower. The flower and bee are also standing out from the nicely softened background in a nice way. The blue thing on the bottom right is however a bit distracting, and I would have tried to clone it out.

Most of the bee is in sharp focus, and it is clear and well defined details to be seen. I also think the exposure is good.

The photo is nicely cropped and the flower and bee have got a good placement within the frame. A lovely and all together well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Thank you Annie. Yeah the blue thing - I am very poor with cloning; have to hone my skills.

What a great image. I don't like bugs, but you make him look pretty and cute. Love the bright orange marigold that he has landed on. The image has a nice depth of field to it. Nice tones and detail throughout the image.

Haha! Great capture of the busy little bee obliterating the face of the lovely Marigold. I love the pose you caught here. The softened background shows it off very well. Very good lighting and focus showing great detail in the flower and bee markings. Lovely composition. Suzanne
