Butterflies ( at least colorful types like the one you've presented us with here ) have been relatively scarce over here in this portion of New York state too,my friend,and that makes seeing this beautiful picture an extra enjoyable experience for me! : )

Beautiful photo. The colors are gently bold, very relaxing to look at. It just has a spring time feel to it. I like how you brought the butterfly to the foreground by making the back ground a little out of focus. very nice work.
